Without getting into discussion if this is right, one thing is certain:

Stop pretending that this is the way of Rav Shach Ztz”l…

The police don’t have the chutzpah to use water canons against secular protests. It’s only against chareidim they think the have power. Obviously all that water spraying doesn’t change the situation.

Peleg Yerushalmi is following Rav Shach’s shita and will not let go until all the boys are released.

who are the roshei yeshiva of these boys
close down the yeshiva and send them all to work
    this is chinuch?
what are you teaching these boys that if something doesnt go their way you go to the streets and act like animals?

this is not reb chaim shlita nor rav shteinmanan shlita way

#1 DEFINITELY was Rav Shach’s shita according to Rav Eliyashiv zt”l and lbch”l Rav Auerbach shlit”a.

#3 Yes, this is chinuch! If you don’t fight them, you end up Jewish goyim. Rav Chaim and Rav Steinman shlit”a have a different shita. Rav Auerbach is following the shita of Rav Shach and Rav Eliyashiv zt”l.

I want to take issue again with the term “Peleg Yerushalmi”. The fact that R’ Shmuel Auerbach shlit”a lives in Yerushalayim doesn’t mean that Etz’s shitos are agreed upon by most chareidim in Yerushalayim (and there are Etznikim in Bnei Brak also).

#7 Rav Auerbach who follows the shita of Rav Shach zt”l is agreed upon by all his talmidiim wherever they live.

#6 You obviously don’t know much about the signing up if you can write such nonsense. When you’ll do the research you’ll realize that it’s a kiddush Hashem berabim.

Whether Rav Auerbach is following the shita of Rav Shach, Rav Eliyashiv or one of several other chashuve rabbonim is not the point. There is a common sense issue here that such violent and confrontational demonstrations pose severe risks to these misguided bochrim as well as the security forces and must stop before, c’v someone is seriously injured or killed. They are entitled to freely express their views on the draft and engage in peaceful demonstrations but otherwise they cannot interrupt the public order.

the mir roshei hayeshiva never allowed it and neither did rav chaim etc
    this is sick
    sign and get your deferrment
if you dont like the law

#11 If the Mir RY and Rav Chaim do not allow it, I’m sure their talmidim are not part of the protesters. Actually, a curious one went to observe yesterday only to get grabbed by the police and send off to jail.

Why should Jews move to Jordan? Don’t they have the same rights as secular and Arab draft-dodgers?

    This is truly atrocious behavior.

There is no makor for such behavior.

This is not the Torah way of doing things. This is korach all over again.

May hakadosh baruch hu bring the geula before we self destruct.
