I don’t know about anybody else, but if I was there I would not appreciated being filmed at all on Chag, even by a goy! This is inappropriate in my mind and I feel that it is improper for us to encourage such behavior by posting their “(Video taken by Non-Jew)” clips. What’s your take?

I can understand the need for a Shabbos/yom tov “goy” to perform essential tasks but is taking a video to post on uTube really essential? I appreciate all the videos and photo albums provided here but sometimes it gets a bit overdone….there are just so many photos of some rav inspecting arba minim or a photo album including 50+ photos showing nearly identical images of a simcha. We are gradually becoming a video culture where the ready availability of images at virtually no incremental cost challenges the old saying that sometimes “less is more”.

I don?t understand why YWN is posting the videos taken on Y”t? did you discuss this a rabbi beforehand? I thought this is a Kosher and Yiddish Website.
