the most appropriate way to launch into the yamim norayim is with selichos the first night, ancient and traditional nusach properly applied, and appropriate seriousness. a choir doesn’t hurt.
with many choices around us available, it is truly a motivational and inspirational delight.

Adler is still the chief chazzan….if you really want to hear a voice, find a video online of the prior chazzan Naftali Herstik. The guy doing Selichos this past weekend may have been a “guest cantor”.
