The U.S. Navy has released footage of an accident aboard the USS Dwight D. Eisenhower involving an E-2C Hawkeye attempting to make a carrier landing.

Hawkeyes have always been manned. The US Navy has been experimenting with launching and landing unmanned ISR aircraft from carriers (such as the X-47B program), but they’re not operational yet.
