What’s so ‘powerful’ about this? – He went to talk about an ongoing problem which occurs across county borders, how does that mean he’s doing nothing about this isolated tragedy which he seemingly had nothing to do with?

I don’t know the details and I don’t live there – just judging from the clip itself. If there’s more to the story then the makers of this video did a poor job communicating it.
