A class of 30 girls was visiting an airport in Venice Italy as part of a regular class outing when this latest anti-Semitic attack occurred. As the girls were getting onto a bus which was going to take them to Antwerp, back to their school, when an anti-Semitic male appeared out of nowhere according to reports and began shouting anti-Semitic slurs using foul language. He began threatening to harm the girls as well.
At some point, perhaps fearing things were beginning to get out of hand; the bus driver approached the man and instructed him to distance himself from the girls. The man refused the driver’s instructions. The driver eventually tried to push the man away, as may be seen on the video captured by some of those present.
The girls became frightened as the incident escalated. Baruch Hashem the injuries sustained by the driver were only minimal soft tissue and bruising. A police report was filed.
