Yisroel Avrohom ben Moshe Rabinowitz z”l, a yungerman from Manchester, UK, was tragically found deceased after a devastating paragliding accident in the Swiss Alps. He was in his mid-20s.
Swiss authorities at first only recovered the parachute Avromi z”l was using, with search-and-rescue teams, including Zurich Hatzolah resources, later locating him.
Avromi got married less than two years ago to his wife, Devori (Issler), with whom he had a son who is now 8 months old.

I know it sounds insensitive but perhaps a yungerman with a wife and an 8 month old son should not be doing something quite so dangerous?
I?m just trying to understand why people do such dangerous sports. This person, unfortunately left behind a wife and child. Hashem should help her be strong!!!

He was niftar doing something that he wanted to do and if you accept hashgacha paratis, perhaps this deemed to happen. Compared with other activities such as driving an ATV, water-skiing or horseback riding, paragliding actually has a lower fatality rate.
