A spokesperson for Misaskim tells YWN that the Levaya for the seven children of the Sassoon family will be held at 3:00PM Sunday afternoon in Shomrei Hadas Chapels in Boro Park.
The Chapel is located at 39th Street and 14th Avenue.
A large NYPD detail has been arranged to assist the expected large crowd, but being that it is a large shopping day before Pesach, with major stores nearby, people should expect heavy traffic in the area.
Police have asked YWN to announce that people attending the Levaya should try and come together in cars to alleviate as much congestion as possible to ensure that the funeral proceed smoothly.
The Levaya will proceed to the airport following the Levaya.
The Kevura (burials) will be at Har HaMenuchos in Yerushalayim.

It would be a tremendous source of nechama to at least be able to hear the words of Rabbonim and participate in the tefilos at the lavaya. Is there a way for there to be a stream on ywn or a phone hook up?As we are all affected by the tragedy people who cannot make it do not want to ignore the tzar to the family and Klall Yisrael and admittedly the needs of personal reflection in the face of such horror.

How beautiful it is to see the amount of pain and anguish felt by our Non-Yiddishe neighbors, even though the tragedy R”L happened to children who are of a different ethnicity than they are.
Umei’hem Yilmudu, we should learn and teach our children to have the sincere love and empathy, to all people even from a different ethnicity.

Of coarse our sins caused this, no other reason. The lack of smoke detectors were the work of the Soton so that his evil plan would materialize. Make no mistake about it this was because of all our sins. Hopefully we can amend our ways so that there are no more Korbanos

I don?t know who this family is, but what I do know is that there are too many things going on these days to be blind and say ?this has nothing to do with me? or ?there is nothing I can do to help.?
Boruch Hashem at least someone is waking up & FACING REALITY (the issue that we all have today which is admitting to Hashem & confessing that Hashem is right & we need to do teshuva)

BH There will be buses going to the levaya leaving from the ave s and ocean parkway next to center at 2, 2:15 and 2:30pm Also leaving from ave p and ocean parkway at 2:15, 2:30. Parking will be impossible near levaya. Please spread the word.

I was with one of the manhigei hador when he was asked by a rebbi what to tell his class about three tragic and near tragic incidents that happened in his class. The Rosh HaYeshiva said, ?Tell them that they must be careful.? Rav Avigdor Miller zt?l also said this many times. This is not in any way to blame the victims of a tragedy, and it is not to say that a cheshbon hanefesh is not in order ? however, often the most important lesson falls by the wayside: Make sure that you have working smoke and carbon monoxide detectors. Keep flammable material away from fire ? especially on Shabbos. Make sure that electric appliances are in good working order. Also consider: Do you test and drive? Do you supervise your children properly? Do you teach your children what to do if they get lost? Are you careful with alcohol on Purim and simchos? The first thing to do teshuva on is carelessness; then make a cheshbon HaNefesh. If this terrible tragedy leads us to be more careful it will be a great zechus for the korbanos.

Such cute little children so innocent. We shouldn’t look at it as 7 kids that were niftar , rather it should feel like a whole world was, each kid could of had a whole bunch of kids and grandkids. HASHEM SAVE US WE CANT LIVE LIKE THIS ANYMORE , TRAGEDY AFTER TRAGEDY,BRING MASHIACH WITH THE GEULAH ALREADY!!
