unbeknownst to most people, the term ?decimated? has a very specific meaning, which does NOT mean ?wiped out?. the romans would punish a legion severely, by killing every tenth soldier, but the legion would remain active. if president trump means to say the iran military has been degraded or destroyed, that?s what he should say. it isn?t necessary to massacre the english language in the process.
