Israel: Leftists Who Insulted Right Winger On Radio Charged NIS 40,000 Fine

Makor Rishon Uri Yisrael Paz reported edition that the Netanya Magistrates Court ruled that Eli Barak has to send a written apology to right-wing activist Nissim Cohen and NIS 40,000 in compensation for defamation of character.

Two years ago Barak attacked Cohen on Flatto Sharon’s call-in radio program on Radius 100 – repeating again and again that “Nissim Cohen of Bnei Brak is a lazy religious person who never worked a day in his life and did not serve in the army.”

Nissim Cohen served in a combat unit and continued to serve in the reserves in a combat unit until he reached the age that he was released from reserve duty.

Judge Erez Yekuel ruled that if Barak failed to send a letter of apology within 30 days that he would have to pay Cohen another NIS 10,000 in addition to the NIS 40,000.

That is good but what about the leftwing radio host (was that also, Eli Barak?)who said that all right wingers were leeches?

I guess he gets to get away with that, huh?
