The fire department was summoned to hotels on King David Street near Mamilla in Yerushalayim during the predawn hours on Wednesday morning, 17 Adar.
Firemen set high ladders into place to extricate persons from the burning structure. There are no reports of injuries.
A probe seeking to determine the cause of the blaze has been launched, headed by Shmuel Turgeman. It appears that the blaze was the result of arson in a hotel room.
