In addition to arrests made last week involving members of the Vaad Tznius, another arrest was made in Jerusalem on Monday 24 Shevat, E.V., a Gerrer Chossid who is described as being close to Health Minister Yaakov Litzman and prominent officials in the chassidus.
He was arrested and indicted a year ago, and this time, he is facing charges of interfering with an ongoing police investigation and other unspecified charges. He is the person believed responsible for placing the drugs in the suitcase of the couple that fled the Vaad Tznius to the Ukraine, where they were arrested on drug charges.
Another player in the case, M.K. was released from detention last Thursday without restrictions to the surprise of many.
Another a suspect, A.D. was released with restrictions.

These guys are frightening. They will stop at nothing to impose the Gerrer idea of tznius on anyone they think is bothering them.

my son in law was sitting on a bus with his wife (my daughter) leaving Kiryat Gat when they were threatened by a Gerer bocher for sitting next to each other.
My son in law was very shaken up by the harsh language and threats.
I think the Gerer Rebbe should speak out against coercion to Gerer standards.
