Yaapchik, I understand that the charedi parties mean lshem shamayim to stop the left. What I don’t understand is: why is a Torah Jew supposed to get so involved in a secular government- to get involved with the secular politicians -, to make laws to force Jews that sadly, don’t keep the Torah anyway -to prevent buses on Shabbos and pork restaurants? I propose that the charedim should pull out of the government and focus on non government Kiruv organisations. I thought only a Beis Din can enforce Halacha- we need Moshiach to have such a Beis DIn.
