WATCH THIS: Chabad Shliach WRECKS Teen in Chinup Contest

Don’t mess with Chabad shluchim.

An Israeli teen challenged a young Chabad shliach to a chinup contest to put on Tefillin, with the full expectation that he would soundly beat the Lubavitcher.

Things didn’t go quite as he planned.

Learning Torah weakens a person’s strength.

(Chazal say Torah matrshes kocho shel adam).

Maybe more Torah study and less chin ups are required.

Did the teen put on tefillin??
Where?s the rest of the story??
So the chabadnik did more chinups, whoohoo, not that I didn?t enjoy watching him, but is that the main part of a YWN story??!

Maybe if it was a Litvisher bochur with Gemara in hand who just came out of the zal then comments would be more supportive… No ayin tova for one’s fellow Yid…

But one small thing, maybe not call him a shliach. All Chabad yeshiva bochurim have tefillin stands on Fridays. The rest of the week is learning from 7 am to 9:30 pm, and many go later into the night.

When doing kiruv, sometimes you need to talk the language of the secular fellow. In this instance, the secular kids implied than strength (chinups) is the all-important factor and wanted to show that the frum guy is inferior. The chabadnik saw this as an opportunity to do a kidduch Hashem to show that physical strength is unimportant. To me, it looked like the chabadnik was enregized (with adrenaline flowing) by this opportunity to do a kidush Hashem and even to get the guys to put on Tefilin willingly (???? ??? ???? ?? ????).
Disclaimer: I am not a chabadnik nor associated with them at all. I’m just being objective (IMHO)
