While Finance Minister Yair Lapid enjoys his newfound political might, his popularity is waning rapidly according to a Knesset Channel poll. The poll shows that 78% of the population does not trust him as the nation’s finance minister, an new low rating for the novice politician. 20% of respondents continue to rely on the minister and 65% of respondents feel he is not a democrat.

1. Given the secular and Ashkenazi biases of Israeli polls, the results are “interesting.”
2. If the raising the threshold goes through, it will alter results since parties will need a minimum of five seats to get elected.
i wouldnt be surprised that by the time of election ein atid wont even pass the threshhold (just like his father)
