Dozens of IDF soldiers over the weekend visited HaGaon HaRav Shalom Cohen Shlita, head of the Shas Moetzas Gedolei Torah, to receive a bracha from the rav.
During the visit with Chacham Cohen, the soldiers received words of chizuk and advice, with Rav Cohen explaining, “every free moment you have, you should take advantage and study Torah”.
Rav Cohen had words of praise for the soldiers, for their “mesirus nefesh for Am Yisrael” and their effort to increase their limud Torah and adherence to mitzvos.”

They should also do training and workshops on how to be mekarev their fellow soldiers to Torah and mitzvos.
