Dozens of young Satmar Children from the Yitav Lev Talmud Torah in Jerusalem held a special protest on Tuesday against Israel’s military draft. The students marched through a number of streets in the city wearing costumes that included signs that read: “I would rather die than be drafted.” The protest was undertaken in support of the “heroic” Charedim who refuse to even go to IDF conscription office to receive their deferrals or sort out their military or civilian service.
The protest march paraded down the streets of Givat Moshe and Ezras Torah, which are located in close proximity to the Talmud Torah. The students wore signs that in the words of the organizers: “Gave strength to those heroes of valor as well as fan the hopes of the young students who they themselves will refuse to appear in front of the conscription office in years to come.”

And they are doing this shortly after Erdogan has been rightly vilified for telling a little girl she could die like a martyr. But I wonder if the adults understand that Purim is “vnahapoch hu” , so the signs mean that they want to be drafted?
Why doesnt one of thier preaching rabbis or raaboonim show them what it means to die. Its easy to paste a tag on them when they are clueless of what they are actually going. These innocent children are made into shick yinglech and worse.

i am in the same shita like tyou but there is no need to publicise this to the whole country when so many hundreds of soldiers are getting killed for your safety, just sit home and learn Torah and daven for those soldiers that NO harm should come their way..Freilichen pirim
