The tzibur is called upon to recite tehillim for Maran Ovadia Yosef ben Gorgia, who at this time is undergoing a cataract operation on his right eye. The surgical procedure is taking place in Hadassah Ein Kerem Hospital.
The Rav Shlita recently underwent an operation for an old fracture of one of his spinal vertebrae and reportedly, has been healing well and is out of pain.
