Prominent Israeli criminal defense attorney Yehuda Weinstein has joined the already impressive list of legal experts seeking to defend Prime Minister Ehud Olmert against a growing list of alleged criminal offenses.
The hiring of Weinstein is believed linked to a planned ‘shimua’ hearing for the prime minister regarding the evidence against him in the Rishon Tours case. Such a hearing is usually a final step prior to the filing of a criminal indictment.
