BREAKING: Jewish Children’s Museum In Crown Heights Evacuated After Threat

The Jewish Children’s Museum was evacuated on Thursday morning after a threat to the facility was received.

Sources tell YWN that the threat came via email.

The wording or the type of threat was unknown.

A decision was made at around 9:30AM to evacuate the building , which is located at 792 Eastern Parkway in the Crown Heights section of Brooklyn. It is across the street from Chabad World Headquarters – 770 Eastern Parkway.

“770” was not affected by the evacuation.

The NYPD have called for a Level 1 Mobilization response. The Bomb Squad is on the scene.

    Yet the police are letting pedestrians walk freely – cones in the street, Chassidim crossing Eastern Parkway. WHY?

    They observe how we evacuate. Then they can make a threat and get us as we evacuate the building.

    My son was up there and sent me a picture of cars still driving nearby. I really don’t get the police and security teams, they couldn’t organize a beer festival in a brewery. B”H it wasn’t a real threat.
