Chaim36, it was a philanthropist from the usa. But even Without knowing the facts, one must be dan lekaf zchus. At the least until he finds out that it’s really more than just a “hunch”. It’s just not humane to always be dan lekaf chuv. Think how you would appear in others eyes if they would always try and find an assumption to imply your guilt.
