The Vizhnitzer Rebbe is scheduled to undergo surgery on Monday and tefillos for his refuah are being held in Vizhnitzer kehillos in Israel and throughout the world.
During his tisch at Shalosh Seudos on Shabbos, the Rebbe requested that all his chassidim daven for his refuah, while mentioning that according to the doctors, the procedure is a minor one.
However, the Rebbe requested that each chassid accept upon himself a kabbalah for his refuah.
Additionally, a number of chassidim traveled on Sunday to Poland, where they will daven for the Rebbe at kivrei tzaddikim.
A statement from the Chassidus said that “thousands of chassidei Vizhnitz, together with Klal Yisrael, are davening for the refuah of Rebbe Yisrael ben Leah Esther l’refuah sheleimah b’toch shaar cholei Yisrael.
