A 1st For An Israeli Gov’t: NIS 40 Million In Funding For Reform Movement

The Bennett-Lapid-Lieberman government on Sunday approved a huge budget for the Reform movement through the Diaspora Ministry.

A budget of NIS 40 million will be allocated to fund initiatives of the Conservative, Reform and Progressive movements through the ”Innovative Judasim” division established by the government.

This is the first time that a budget for the Reform movement has been approved by an Israeli government.

“The current government continues to trample on kol davar b’kedusha and supports Reform organizations which wreak a spiritual holocaust on the Jewish nation and which through so many Jews have been lost to assimilation,” UTJ MK Meir Porush told B’Chadrei Chareidim.

Bennett, the kippa wearing “frum” Prime Minister. Even Ben Gurion didn’t go that path. The arab funding and this is all at the expense of the chareidim – yiddishe families in Har Nof and Ramat Eshkol and Petach Tikva and, and, and.

Wrong. Nobody has ever left Orthodoxy to become Reform. Many youngsters leave the fold to become Totally Frei.

These ignorant Yidden don’t realize how they are seriously endangering themselves and all Jews in Israel. Do they want the Land to “vomit us out”? By harrassing Torah learners with laws specifically aimed at breaking them financially (end of daycare subsidies for working women whose husbands are not also working, taxes on disposables relied upon by large families, on top of all of the previous harrassment by our ‘friend’ Bibi who slashed the income of so many) and now – the icing on the cake – by bringing chazzer into the heichal, they are losing all claim to the Land which was given to us with clearly laid out conditions. The more brazenly these conditions are violated, the greater the danger.
Protests, od-eds and speeches of religious MKs both chareidli and dati leumi will not make a dent.
We need to increase zechuyos for added protection – more Torah, avodah and gemilus chassadim, more teshuvah, tefillah and tzedakah. ??? ?????? ??? ???????? – if we don’t get the message, who will?!

    Reform is not Judaism.

How can Reform it be Judaism if they violate the laws of Judaism? Reform is a violation of Judaism.

Reform is not Judaism. But then, what else do you expect from the Zionists, whose original purpose was to turn the Jews from the religious group that kept the Torah, into another gentile nation, violating the Torah and allowing Toeivah-pride parades.

ladler is correct. We need to increase zechuyos for added protection ? more Torah, avodah, and gemilus chassadim; more teshuvah, tefillah, and tzedakah.
