The Mekubal HaRav Yitzchak Meir Morgenstern, the Rav of the Toras Chacham Kahal in Yerushalayim, is in need of Rachamei Shamayim.

The Rav is ill with a lung infection he developed after contracting COVID and is being treated at home by his doctors.

He was unable to leave his home in Ganei Geulah for the tefillos on Hoshana Raba and Simchas Torah, to the disappointment of the many who hoped to daven in his presence.

The public is asked to daven for the refuah of Rebbe Yitzchak Meir ben Yocheved Sima l’refeuah sheleimah b’toch shaar cholei Yisrael.

Bs”d Does anyone know if the Rav was vaccinated? How come he caught Covid if most elderly people have been vaccinated?

Bs”d Please tell us if the sick person you are reporting , had covid before this, was vaccinated and still got Covid, etc. Otherwise, please don’t mention Covid. What’s the point? Only if we can learn something from the info.. I want to know how prominent elderly people are still getting seriously ill with Covid, if there was a strong campaign to be vaccinated, supported by Rabbi Chaim Kanievsky shlita, and Rabbi Gershon Edelstein, shlita.

    I?m guessing he is vaccinated
As YWN makes sure to notify us which of the sick or dead don?t deserve our sympathy
So since YWN doesn?t mention it?
