FOUND – Frum Family Missing In Breakneck Ridge Mountain Park

brp8:00PM (Wednesday): The missing family has been found by a deputy from the Putnam County Sherrif Department.

7:07PM (Wednesday): A family from Boro Park has gone missing in Breakneck Ridge Mountain Park, in Putnam County, NY. Sources tell YWN that the couple, residents of Brooklyn, called Williamsburg Shomrim to seek assistance since they had lost their way, and needed help. Shomrim immediately reached out to the Putnam County Sheriff Department, who initiated a search.

Missing are a mother, father, and a child.

Putnam County Sheriff Donald B. Smith and Undersheriff Peter Convery are both on the scene. The New York State Park Rangers are on the scene as well, and a chopper from the New York State Police has been dispatched to assist them. Additionally, Hatzolah from Rockland County has just been informed of the search.

    I wouldn’t go hiking in a place called “Breakneck”. It sounds ominous.
