Following the completion of the Kosel Heritage Center frame, the Kosel Heritage Foundation, in cooperation with the Israel Antiquities Authority, has begun work on connecting the Roman Cardo road exposed over a decade ago at the Kosel Heritage Center with the findings uncovered under Strauss House in the Western Wall Tunnels.
The Kosel Foundation is continuing to develop the Kosel Plaza for the benefit of the visitors coming to the Kosel, with the number of annual visitors to the holy site increasing annually.

They are (rightfully) trying to keep this very quiet. The plan is to have another full sized Kosel Plaza right underneath the current one. It will be huge and weatherproof.
