I often see people spending 60 to 100 shekels a time on lottery tickets and I always wondered at this lack of emunah. If Hashem wants you to win the lottery, you will. You will not increase your chances by spending for more than “a simple 11 NIS lottery ticket .”

I am now waiting with bated breath to read all the etzehs this man will doubtless receive on how, and to whom, he should extend his new-found largesse.

Yeshivot, orphanages, kolelim, batei knesset and so forth will doubtless all be pushing and shoving to be the very first in line.

They will soon come up against Mifal HaPayis’s “screeners” who already have 62 years of experience in these matters.
