Prosecution Decides Not To Appeal Release Of Rabbi Berland

The prosecution has decided not to appear the parole board decision to release Rabbi Eliezer Berland from prison due to his battle with a serious illness. As reported, the rabbi signed a plea bargain agreement five months ago, by which he was to serve 18 months imprisonment.

He is released to house arrest but the prosecution requested to delay the actual release for 24 hours to decide if an appeal will be filed. The state has decided not to appeal and permit the rabbi’s early release to continue being treated under house arrest.

    to avreimi:
Maybe you should look into a mirror and make your comments about the guy in the mirror. Hashem does not need your comments on what he does. Hashem did not send you to this world to make comments on what he does.
