A Jerusalem police spokesman reports that police detected a wagon filled with sharks in the Old City on Tuesday, Rosh Chodesh Nissan. Border police instructed the man to stop after seeing what they thought was a shark’s head sticking out of a carton. When they lifted the carton, they found four sharks, which he was taking to the marketplace.

The suspect was detained and nature wildlife officers were summoned.

    I just want to know which beach they caught the sharks at. And if now that they got the sharks, is it now a safer place to swim? If so, kol hakavod lahem.

    There are laws about nature reserves and fishing permits. This sounds like a “whale” of a story.
