This letter was sent today by Am Echad, Preserving One Jewish People, to Members of the Israeli Knesset encouraging them to not recognize Reform and Conservative movements in the wake of the Pittsburgh massacre.

    Get the wording right —- it makes a difference!There should be no recognition of the Hellenist Reform and Conservative MOVEMENTS, but we recognize all Jews who are Jewish by Jewish law, whether they are observant or not.

    As the Reform and Conservative movements are not Judaism, there is nothing to recognize.
