Tragedy has R”L struck the Catskills on Sunday afternoon, when a 6-year-old girl was struck and killed by a vehicle in the town of Woodridge. As YWN Catskills had reported earlier, the child was struck by a vehiclein front of Village Park Bungalow Colony on Tabaczynski Road around 3:00PM.
Catskills Hatzolah rushed to the scene and did everything they could to save the child’s life. Unfortunately, she was Niftar shortly after arriving at Catskill Regional Medical Center (Harris Hospital).
The Woodridge Police Department is on the scene investigating the incident. They are being assisted by the Sullivan County Sheriff Department and the NY State Police.
UPDATE: The Levaya of Rivka Weinman AH will tentatively be taking place at 11:30 PM this evening in Lakewood at the 7th Street Chapel.Rabbi and Mrs Shalom Weinman of Lakewood, NJ.

Kavod for a shul has gone down big time I agree. I can’t say that this the reason for anything but there’s no question that we need to change the way we behave in shul and how we daven. All the talking and quickie minyanim have to stop.
Is it possible that no one down here knows what causes Tzaros to happen? Perhaps no one is in that category of Gadlus or Nvius these days?
Has anyone figured out with total confidence the reason the Holocaust happened?
Perhaps we ought to just be as good and Trading as we can and leave the philosophizing and blame game out of it because its only a guessing game.

y2r, gedolim don’t CONTRIBUTE it to talking… the ATTRIBUTE it to talking… Believe me, the gedolim are not contributing to the problem by talking by davening. No ifs, ANDS, or buts.
