candle914YWN regrets to inform you of the passing of R’ Chaim Elazar (Louie) Tratner Z”L, a prominent member of the Flatbush community, and a big Baal Chesed. He was approximately 60 years old.

The Levaya will take place tomorrow morning, Monday, at 1:00PM at Shomrei Hada’as Chapel (3803 14th Avenue, Borough Park) Kevurah will take place in Eretz Yisroel.

    Louie, affectionately called Loyosh, was a sweetheart of a person, a gem who had a good word for everyone, even younger people. Someone whose sterling midos and chesed should be emulated by all. Yehi zichro boruch.
