YWN regrets to inform you of the Petira of Rebbetzin Chana Weinberg A”H, wife of HaRav Yaakov Weinberg ZATZAL, Rosh Yeshiva of Ner Israel in Baltimore, and the daughter of Hagon Rav Yitzchok Ruderman ZATZAL.
The Levaya is schedule for 10:00AM in Yeshiva Ner Yisroel, Baltimore.
Rebbetzin Chana Weinberg (n Ruderman) was born in Germany in 1927 and grew up in Slobodka, then in Lithuania. In 1931, the Ruderman family moved to Cleveland, Ohio where her father, Hagon Rav Yitzchok Ruderman , served as one of the teachers at the Yeshiva. After two years, the family relocated to Baltimore, Maryland where he became Rosh Yeshiva of Yeshiva Ner Yisroel.

Rav Ruderman ZAL He did not become Rosh Yeshiva. He started Yeshivas Ner Yisroel. He came to Baltimore as a Rov in a shul, on the condition that he could start a yeshiva in the Shul. Eventually the Yeshiva grew and he left the Rabbonus.
While Rav Gifter ZAL was a Rov in Baltimore he said a chabura to the best boys in the Yeshiva. He expresed his hakoras Hatov to The Rosh Yeshiva zal when he came to be maspid on the Shloshim.
Rebbitzen Weinberg was Torah royalty. She inspired countless women in avodas Hashem. Klal Yisroel has lost a rare gem.
