I was zoiche to be able to go meet Rav Shmon Galai and It was an incredible experience. I never before met a yid so in love with…everything. He’s in love with the Torah, Hashem, Klal Yisroel, and on such a tangible level as well. it was an amazing experience to be able to just see someone like that. anyways, I wanted to learn about who he is and I asked around but was unable to find out anything from my friends/rebbeim. I wanted to know if anybody here on the cr knows anything about him. ie; where he learned, who’s his rebbe, or anything really.

This can be demonstrated where Hashem is in the center of a circle and tne bnei yisrael are on the circle. Through the Torah, there is magnatism pulling the circle to center, unifying the points on the circle and by making the circle smaller eventually coinciding with the center. This the meaning of the yisrael, vearaysa vekidsha beruch hu chad hu, all three are one.

True Godoil!

June 25, 2021 7:04 pm at 7:04 pm #1986399Reb EliezerParticipantThe Rabbenu Bachaya in the begining of Parashas Ki Siso explains how counting directly the Jews can harm them by quoting the Zohar that one should not separate oneself from the group because if one is recognized and spotted. will be blamed. We should not separate the bad from the good. The Shunamis in the article said, besoch ami anochi yosheves, I am sitting among my naton. I don’t want to separate myself from the rest of my natiion.

Go ahead and fire away all the questions you want. I will BN endeavor to get back to you with the answers. One story I heard (but have not confirmed, yet) –
He was run over by a taxi driver who immediately stopped the car and inquired. What can i do for you?
To which he answered – Start keeping Shabbos! (Or was it, Put on Tefillin).June 25, 2021 2:31 pm at 2:31 pm #1986676Reb EliezerParticipantTorah unifies Klal Yisrael with Hashem.
