i’ve had that before when i was sick… it’s a horrible feeling i’m sorry!! stay calm! maybe check for keatones. the problem is that once the body registers that there is insulin there it will absorb it all at once so don’t keep giving full correction and be ready for it to drop low…. what i always do is call my doctors… diabetes doc to ask how to get it down safely (because every time is different for me…) and my regular doctor because i know i am sick and i ALWAYS right.. diabetics have a way of knowning their body… i know its frustrating i’m sorry i can’t be of real help! hope you feel better! keepp me posted!
