Doing what Hashem wants a Jew to do is a Kiddush Hashem. Doing what He doesnt want you to do is a chillul Hashem. Very simple, singing a non Jewish pritzusdig love song in public in front of millions of people is a chillul Hashem. I am not saying the boy is a not nice kid or has bad middos. But that doesnt take away from the fact that he either knowingly or unknowingly due to bad education and guidance committed a big chillul Hashem.
