A friend of mine’s something or other is friends with one of the maccabeats and they said that they got a ton of calls from people who were lighting candles and wanted to know more about Chanukah and their heritage.
As for the people who say well it’s good for public school people but not us. Well the song they took it from is a totally appropriate song (that’s what my friend said anyway.)and it’s better than some other famous singers who’s tunes come from bad songs.
