if the HS has a rule no nail polish, then the rule has to be followed. during HS, i got my nails done 1 or 2x a year, usually erev pesach after my nails were destroyed from cleaning and peeling. in Sem, didnt do my nails. in college didnt do my nails till january cuz A) the cold made them look purple and B) they got really cracked after helping out for my sis’s HS play. but i’m starting a rotation in school this semester that does not allow nail polish so i’m using a clear coat to prevent cracks in my nails.
is it OK to wear nail polish? depends on the situation, the color, etc. no clear cut answer
