If the boy has a monetary claim for support against the girls father, he should take him to beis din. If the girl has a monetary claim against her husband for not supporting her, she should take him to beis din. Once in beis din, where the monetary issue will be decided, I’m sure they will also recommend counseling for the whole lot. In short, my advise would be, go to a rav for a din torah.
