Today United Torah Judaism head Yitzchok Goldknof said that sanctions against Charedim who do not enlist should be abolished, comparing them to a yellow star, during the Knesset debate on personal sanctions on sanctions against Bnei Torah.
He said: “In what country in the world do they take a rabbi and punish him? Here in Israel, we’ll decide to punish them? A yellow star, how can we do this?”
Our lovely Yankel Berel here will soon be condemning Rabbi Goldknof and the United Torah Judaism party and their Rabbinic leadership for (correctly) invoking Nazi terminology against the (evil) IDF and the State of “Israel”.
