We are talking about elementary school aged kids, mostly in the younger grades, before radio was invented, and in an isolated settlement where their parents did not buy the few newspapers that existed in the cities. Did you ever read about ???? ????, which happened 20 years later, or about what happened to the Sephardi children in the 50s? We are talking about rapid and malicious brainwashing and indoctrination by people who knew exactly what they were doing, not “sociological phenomena”.
