Reply To: Where is Hashem?

To all of those responding to my post: Thank you for taking the time to respond. All of you need to understand that I am a child of Holocaust survivors. My mother A”H was in Auschwitz and had a number on her arm. She was any of orphaned at 13. Her two surviving sisters and brother had numbers too. I was raised among those tattoos and endless whispered stories of “Der Lager”. My father A”H escaped the camps with his parents but his family was decimated. His father had five older brothers and sisters and each of them were murdered, as were all of their children. As a result of this, my parents ended up to be well meaning but extremely damaged emotionally. Unlike many of you, I grew up with the Holocaust baked into my bones. So forgive me if I express fear during these times. I cane here for some Chizuk but instead I got nasty and condescending responses.
