Dr. Pepper, the colonists were also “free to leave”. Not being able to leave is not what living under tyranny is about. The Founding Fathers established the US to be a free and fair state for all citizens. Politicians have no right to ROB hard earned money from US citizens just as they have no right to rob land from them.

When you live in a country you need to pay taxes to the government and I never, ever said otherwise. I said taxes need to be fair. When leaders of a country demand an unfair percentage of the income from the citizens in their country, to the point that it causes them financial hardship, THEY ARE STEALING from the citizens.
