Menachem thanks for your insight on midyan and the satan. Actually quite interesting because the first or one of the first times we encounter midyan is with the tragedy of Tziporahs split from Moshe which fuelled further tragedy…. Was trying to remember the reference to midyan. (Yes it was necessary but still very tragic especially for her. Women always took the cut in history and were instrumental in all the important moments such as the mishkan building, Matan Torah, Geula first and soon to be final etc)
