If you want to punish Unilever the way to do it is short the stock and make the stock price drop 20% in value. Board members usually own a lot of the companies shares and so when it goes down in value they take notice as they too are losing value. I wouldn’t say it’s not risky but with state pension selling off shares a grass roots movement to short the stock together with some hedge funds who smell blood in the water we can make some money too.
