You cannot bring yourself to be sorry that you declared Jews dead r”l. Or is it just admitting you are wrong that is too hard? I am having so much trouble understanding how you can state straight out that Jews died and spit out nonsense to avoid stating you are ashamed and sorry for opening your mouth in such a way. You were SO sure. And you were wrong. Shame on you for your pride. For myself I need to believe that you are actually sorry even tho you won’t say so.
