Girls yeshivas have been piling on the homework for years. My friends daughter would often not get to bed before midnight.
When i was in yeshiva h.s. 55 years ago, my school day startec st 9 am and ran until 6:10. I had t0 leave the house at 7:30 in the morning and was lucky to return home by 7:30 . After sitting down to eat supper, i was usually too tired to do any homework and never did any.
